The Steps of Stamping Concrete

The first step is to add antique release or another bond breaker. You can apply it to your concrete using a splash brush for a nice even coating. After laying down your top corner tool and your top tool, take a look at your stamps to see how they are organized; they may bear different numbers, colors, or letters to indicate where they should be placed. Be sure to add more release powder as you go, and remember to stand on top of the stamp that you are tamping down.
